A Very Tangled Valentines

I was approached by a friend about doing a painting for their Valentine, with the theme of Disney's Tangled. I'm still very happy with the results.

Farmgirl Zelda Sketch

exactly what it says on the tin. I have a thing for alternate retellings for Zelda, idk if you've noticed.

I'd just bought a good chunk of Kyle Websters brush sets, they are fantastic, I highly recommend them. I don't use anything but his brushes anymore.

Kylie vs Frozen; Elsa odds and ends

So this is generally how working on reboarding goes;

Usually, no. No one wants to talk about Frozen. Most of my friends are very Done with Frozen. But in January, I was not. I picked up where I left off and thumbnailed through a few more ideas and doodled Elsa a bit too

Good Guy Ganon; Teen Link cont.

Returning to GGG!Link's teenage years, I did some expression studies. Link becomes something of a serious kid when he's left with Ganon's sisters and has to go about finishing the work Ganon started in overthrowing the Queen. Things consistently go pretty terribly for him, and the Gerudo don't like him all that much. Most blame him getting their King wrapped up in a conflict that may have killed him, and on Link's worst days, he blames himself, too.

He's a fighter, though, and he keeps pushing, keeps trying his best even though the odds are stacked against him.

And then he gets his butt kicked by Sheikah and becomes Zelda's brainwashed puppet. Poor kid just doesn't catch a break.

Good Guy Ganon; Princess Zelda comic

Sometimes I just need to knock out a comic. This time around, it was a short scene with Princess Zelda and her body-guard and confidant, Impa. In GGG, Queen Zelda is the big bad and her granddaughter, Princess Zelda, starts receiving visions that point to this. She's only about thirteen, fourteen when they start and, look, no one wants to have nightmares where their granny is the villain. Especially not when you're 99% sure your nightmares are being sent down from upon high from your deity, and either are true or will become true. Zelda loves her grandmother, and her father and her kingdom. She doesn't want to believe they could be, well, friggin' evil.

Kylie vs Frozen; Scene revamp

Okay so you know that scene where Anna and Elsa have a duet that ends really, really badly? I kinda wondered how differently things might go with a forward thinker like Delle around. Very differently, it turns out.

DWP; Keira outfits and expressions

I'm getting really sick of Blogspot taking pictures with white backgrounds and darkening them, like, why blogspot? Why you gotta do that? Does anyone know how to stop it from doing that; it seems to happen randomly
