I struggled with my first board for about a month, but for good reason. The finished project remains one of the strongest, completed boards I have in my arsenal.

A Girl and Her Fairy
In the spring semester of 2013, I had my first 'Senior Studio' course at CCS. Roughly six hours, twice a week, given to seniors to work on a thesis of their choice. In the animation section of Entertainment Arts, students typically put that time towards a short film, but I was starting to realize my heart was in story, not purely animation, and I was running out of time to learn how to be a story artist. I put together a proposal and with it, got the okay to focus purely on boards for the rest of the semester.
I struggled with my first board for about a month, but for good reason. The finished project remains one of the strongest, completed boards I have in my arsenal.
